How to build your very own Online Learning/Training Platform
We have developed a series of courses so you can learn how to build your own Online Learning/Training Platform
The course/lessons we have created try and cater for everyone however we have to be mindful that there is a lot of skill and knowledge required around WordPress before you can launch into building a platform like this. We have tried to address this with a WordPress lesson which should be taken before the Online Learning/Training Platform element, however it is fairly high level.
If you need more training in this essential foundation knowledge then there are thousands of courses you will find by simply searching Google for "how to build a wordpress site".
Alternatively we can set up your base site for A$300 + gst (this is an estimate only and varies based on other elements). If you would like us to do that for you please contact us via our contact us page. Please note, you must have a domain name and a wordpress hosting account before we can set up your site.
Technology Platform
You will be utilising the WordPress CMS to build your new Learning/Training Platform. WordPress has come a very long way since the days that Blogs started. Today WordPress powers over 35% of the worlds websites and over 62% of the Content Management Systems (CMS).
Learning Management System
At the core of your new Learning/Training Platform is a Learning Management System or an LMS. Your LMS allows you to manage your Learning/Training content. Your LMS takes a hierarchical approach to structuring your content - Courses > Lessons > Topics > Quizzes > Certificates.
Security
Security is extremely important when it comes to your new Learning/Training Platform. You want your students' data and to be safe - not to mention your content. We will teach how to use the latest security measures that include DOSS attack software to make sure your site is available 24/7
Our Skills & Expertise
After years and years focused on building Online Learning/Training Platforms we have worked out that there are three main elements outside of the training content. They are your Learning Strategy, The User Experience on the Platform and finally the Look & Feel of the site - the aesthetics.
Obviously content is king, however we need to determine what your Learning Strategy because that underpins everything else. Are you rewarding by giving points, items or icons etc. What is the student going to achieve for participating in your training.
The following bars outline the importance of each of the elements - how do we know this, we learnt it through trail and error.
See aren't you glad you found us?
